Leo is the second of the Fire Signs and is just as bold and courageous. But unlike fearless Aries, Leo uses this confidence to show off her uniqueness to everyone around. Ruled by the fiery Sun, this energy is all about being the center of attention. Use this energy to put yourself in the spotlight! Got any hidden talents or skills? Now is the time to share them and be proud of all you can do.

Creative self-expression is essential in creating a fulfilling life. I honestly used to think I was “bad” at creativity. Like I was good at math, bad at creativity. Whenever I was given creative license in school I would be filled with anxiety and paralyzed by fear. I just couldn’t understand how people were creating amazing works of art. The problem wasn’t that I couldn’t create, it was that I was trying to do it “right”. I thought there was some formula, like with math, to be able to create. But really it was so hard because I was trying to create someone else’s art. The truth is, we are all natural born creators. And as women, we literally have the power to create life!

Children are in a creative state all the time. As we explore the world around us, we make up stories, draw pictures, sing songs, etc. It is only as we get older and learn to compare ourselves to others that we start to believe what we are creating isn’t good enough. That’s when we hide our light from the world and eventually stop creating all together. This month we are tapping back into your inner child to rediscover how to play. Find a photo of yourself as a child to sit with as you listen to the meditation.

Your Challenge for this month is to show off your hidden talents! Let your inner child out for some play! It doesn’t matter if it’s “good” or worth millions, it matters that it’s yours. It is authentically YOU. Remember, you are the creatrix of your own reality! There are no rules, you get to decide what works for you and what doesn’t. This cycle is an opportunity to go wild and dream big! Oh, and don’t forget to have some fun while you’re at it!
